| Trip to Boston September 24, 2007 2:17pm in life |
| Well I made it safely to my hotel last night in Chicopee, Massachusetts. The flight into Boston was relatively uneventful. It did remind me why I hate airports. Finding where I needed to be should have been soooo much simpler. But in the end I found it OK. Though I did end up parking in the wrong area at first, I ended up paying $3 for parking that I probably shouldn't have had to pay. Oh well, I'll be reimbursed for it. I had to go to F terminal to check my bag only to have to go to C terminal to board my flight. You would think that there'd be a better way of doing things. I went right through security though, there was no line which was great. No problems with security either, not that there should have been. Unloaded my laptop and whatnot and walked right through. Didn't set off the metal detector or anything. Apparently the metal pin in my thumb isn't strong enough to set it off which is good because that might be hard to explain even though it shouldn't be. My biggest beef was getting out of Logan International Airport in Boston. It took 2 hours to get my baggage, rental car, and leave. Talk about a pain in the ass, heh. Oh well, Got into my hotel a little before 10pm. It's a pretty nice hotel, free internet which is nice. Right now I'm at the hospital waiting for the IT guy to get here and since I have no internet at the moment, I'll be posting this later today when I get back to the hotel. I fly back tomorrow. Flight's at 12:30pm. Plan on getting into Philly, heading to Gamestop, pick up Halo 3 then to work I go for the afternoon. Definitely will be playing Halo 3 upon my return home tomorrow evening. Hopefully tomorrow's flight will go smoothly. Sorta cringing at what I'm sure will be a hefty parking charge. |
